Editorial Policy

These standards guide the preparation and review of BUZZVISTA articles.

Verification and sources

Check a subject’s identity before writing. Prefer original interviews, official biographies, publishers, broadcasters and relevant public records. Keep a separate research record so that factual statements can be traced to their evidence. Distinguish a source’s own description from independently established facts.

Do not invent dates, qualifications, relatives, earnings or net-worth figures. When evidence is insufficient, state the limitation or keep the article unpublished. A shorter accurate article is preferable to a padded biography.

Independence

This website is an independent publication and is not affiliated with or endorsed by buzzvista.co.uk. Editorial coverage must not imply endorsement by the people or organisations discussed.

Privacy

Focus on information relevant to a subject’s public work. Do not publish private contact details or unnecessary information about children and people without an established public role.

Corrections and updates

Check a reported error against the underlying evidence. Correct material mistakes in the article and explain substantive corrections clearly. New information should be reviewed before it is added; an update must not disguise an earlier error.

Photographs and illustration

Verify reuse permission and subject identification. Preserve required credits and license notices. Label neutral photographs and generated illustrations so readers cannot mistake them for a portrait or record of an event.

Commercial material

Any sponsored or paid placement must be clearly labelled. Commercial interests must not be presented as independent evidence.
